Silk Floss

Hi Ladies, how are you doing, just thinking about the stitching on Month 6’s block. No many of you have ordered any extra floss, either you’re taking your time or you’ve chosen to use a different floss. Can you let me know so I know if you like the silk floss.
I thought I would mention while stitching with the silk floss I’ve noticed doing the stem stitch that it works better going in a certain direction. Have you noticed this too? Are you doing the stem stitch or another stitch, I would love some feedback – thanks so much!
Valerie, I was actually thinking about this the other day. I'm quite behind and thus don't know how long the silk lasts…I've really only finished the first block (seriously, I'm so bad!!). So I know I will have to order more silks (they are wonderful btw, I've worked with a lot of silks with my needlework and thoroughly enjoy the luxury of them…although I've learned to have well conditioned hands and no jaggy fingernails!!!).
Hi Vivian, thanks for the feedback! Yes you need to have soft hands, yesterday I had a jagged nail and it kept getting in the way LOL but all good to go now.
