Pies and Tarts – Month Three

Holy Molly – this project is coming together and it’s as stunning as I was hoping…

My Mum (who is also doing Pies and Tarts) was here on the weekend and we sat and stitched our slices together…got in the rhythm and finished quite a few…like the key to most things is finding your rhythm.

Cutting same as month 1:

Cotton: 12″ = (2) 4″ cuts x WOF for Pies and (1) 3″ cut x WOF for tarts

Cotton: 17″ = 8″ squares for background

Silk: 1 quarter = (3) 4″ x 27″ for Pies and (2) 3″ cut x 27 for tarts

I feel like I’m getting the hand of it and my centers seem to be coming together better, more aligned – how are you guys doing?
